Colossians 3

Put On the New Self

a If then you have been raised with Christ, seek b the things that are above, where Christ is c seated at the right hand of God. d Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For e you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ f who is your
Some manuscripts our
life h appears, then you also will appear with him i in glory.

j Put to death therefore k what is earthly in you:
Greek  therefore your members that are on the earth
m sexual immorality, impurity n passion, evil desire, and covetousness o which is idolatry.
p On account of these the wrath of God is coming.
Some manuscripts add upon the sons of disobedience
r In these you too once walked, when you were living in them. But now s you must put them all away: t anger, wrath, malice u slander, and obscene talk from your mouth. v Do not lie to one another, seeing that w you have put off x the old self
Greek man; also as supplied in verse 10
with its practices
10 and z have put on aa the new self, ab which is being renewed in knowledge ac after the image of ad its creator. 11  ae Here there is not Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave
Greek bondservant
free; but Christ is ag all, and in all.

12  ah Put on then, as ai God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved aj compassionate hearts ak kindness al humility, meekness, and patience, 13  am bearing with one another and an if one has a complaint against another ao forgiving each other; ap as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. 14 And above all these put on aq love, which ar binds everything together in as perfect harmony. 15 And let at the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called au in one body. And av be thankful. 16 Let aw the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, ax singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, ay with thankfulness in your hearts to God. 17 And az whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus ba giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Or Slaves; also 4:1 (for the contextual rendering of the Greek word doulos, see Preface)
obey bg in everything those who are your earthly masters
Or  your masters according to the flesh
not by way of eye-service, as people-pleasers, but with sincerity of heart, fearing the Lord.
23  bi Whatever you do, work heartily bj as for the Lord and not for men, 24 knowing that from the Lord bk you will receive the inheritance as your reward. bl You are serving the Lord Christ. 25 For the wrongdoer will be paid back for the wrong he has done, and there is no partiality.
